Taylor Swift left fans in awe after AMAs surprise appearance in blinky jumpsuit

Taylor Swift is entering a new fashion era and is on a roll.

The legendary singer-songwriter stunned attendees at the 2022 American Music Awards in a plunging, golden rhinestone costume by The Blonds with a '70s vibe. 

She accessorised the disco-ready ensemble with vintage side-swept curls, her trademark red lip, and jewellery by Vram and Nouvel Heritage.

Swift, 32, has already won the American Music Awards for the favourite pop album for Red (Taylor's Version), favourite female pop artist, the favourite music video for All Too Well: The Short Film, favourite female country singer, a favourite country album, and artist of the year.

"This album is a rerecorded album and I cannot tell you how much my rerecorded albums mean to me but I never expected or assumed that they would mean anything to you," she said during her favorite pop album acceptance speech.

"So I can't thank you enough for caring about this album that I'm so proud of."

The singer went on to thank all who helped her make the record, notably "my beautiful, brilliant friend" Blake Lively, who directed the music video for I Bet You Think About Me, which stars Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry Teller.

As the most nominated female artist, Swift is tied with Beyoncé with six nods.
