Will Smith reflects on high school days with surprise visit to Overbrook High

Will Smith is looking back.

The West Philadelphia native refreshed the memory of his teenage years by giving a surprise visit to his old school, Overbrook High School in the city on Thursday, Nov. 3.

The video of his surprise visit was posted on the school’s social media, which showed the Focus actor surprising the digital media students while they were taking the class.

The video showed the class blaring with ear-spitting hooting as the students greeted him with amazement.

They also posted various pictures of his chronicles at the school, including a group photo with the students, him skimming through his old yearbook with the photo of one “Willard Smith” in it, and interacting with different groups.

The school district shared video and photos on social media, writing, "Thanks for everything, Will!"
