JID and Smino will be co-headlining 2023 tour

JID and Smino are together on the North American tour.

The 32-date tour, dubbed "Luv is 4Ever" (a combination of the names of the two rappers' albums from 2022), is scheduled to launch on January 22 at Seattle's Paramount Theatre and make stops in 21 states and three Canadian provinces before coming to an end on March 29 at Nashville's Marathon Music Works.

This Friday, October 14, at 10 a.m. local time, tickets go on sale at LuvIs4Ever.com.

In addition to appearing on the 2019 Dreamville posse cut "1993" with J. Cole, Cozz, EarthGang, and Buddy from the label collection Revenge of the Dreamers III: Director's Cut, JID and Smino have previously worked together on 2020's "Baguetti" (produced by Kenny Beats).

JID, the Atlanta-born, -bred, and -based emcee at the head of the retro-sounding, avant-garde rap group Spillage Village, released his third LP, The Forever Story, in August.

The following month, he performed songs from his short but fruitful solo career at NPR's Tiny Desk studio with the aid of an eight-piece backing band.

Smino, who was born and raised in St. Louis but has lived most of his adult life in Chicago, recently unveiled his third studio album, Luv 4 Rent, and its lead single, "90 Proof," which features J. Cole. That album will be released on October 28.
