Jonathan Majors maybe come to Lionsgate’s ’48 Hours in Vegas’ as Dennis Rodman

In the upcoming Lionsgate film "48 Hours in Vegas," which is on the basketball player's infamous trip during the 1998 NBA finals, Jonathan Majors is in preliminary discussions to play Dennis Rodman.

Last August, word spread that Lionsgate and Lord Miller were planning to produce a movie based on the trip that would go down in sports history.

The voyage after Rodman, then a top player for the Chicago Bulls, requested his coach Phil Jackson if he could take a 48-hour vacation to Las Vegas in the middle of the 1998 NBA Finals matchup against the Utah Jazz is the subject of the documentary "48 Hours in Vegas."

Although Rodman and his Bulls colleague Michael Jordan recently revisited similar incidents in the ESPN docuseries "The Last Dance," the new film is claimed to give its own vision of the "madcap adventure" that followed as Rodman and a wary assistant general manager struck up a startling new bond.
