Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida is preparing for a closure as the western side of the state is bracing for Hurricane Ian.
A storm followed by a landfall is expected to hit the state later this week and while the park is “currently operating under normal conditions” its management is preparing “to make necessary adjustments based on the latest information from the National Weather Service.”
“We continue to put the safety of our Cast Members and Guests first and will share updates with you as we monitor Hurricane Ian,” read a statement.
The site also warned their guests of closures due to weather.
Currently, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will close temporarily on Sept. 28 Sept. 29 and the park's Blizzard Beach is currently closed.
