Ellie Goulding reveals ‘adorable solution’ to combat her anxiety: ‘cuddling baby son’

Ellie Goulding has reflected on her journey as a mother to her 16-month-old toddler Arthur in her recent interview.

Speaking to Mirror UK, the Love Me Like You Do hit-maker revealed how she’s been able to cope with her “anxiety and panic attacks” in the current climate change and things going around in the world that had already taken a toll on her life and career.

“My anxiety just went off the chart. It felt like it reached new heights of panic and fear,” said the pop star.

The singer continued, “If you haven’t had a panic attack, it’s so hard to describe and explain but it’s just so overwhelming…”

Ellie, who shares a toddler with 30-year-old hubby Caspar Jopling, mentioned that cuddles of her son helped her combat crippling panic attacks.

“When I get anxious, giving Arthur cuddles and hanging out with him really makes me feel a lot better,” explained the 35-year-old.

The singer-songwriter noted, “It’s huge, but the joy they bring and the fact they make you laugh really balances that out.”

“It’s some kind of survival mechanism to you and your kid. You want to survive as much as possible for them and you also want them to survive, so you are kind of fighting for both of you. It’s a lot,” she added.
