BLACKPINK makes a successful comeback with Born Pink

BLACKPINK have made a successful comeback with Born Pink and earned the title of double-million seller.

BLACKPINK's Born Pink has made more than double sales than their first full-length album and has become the first K-pop girl group with consecutive million sales.

According to Pinkvilla, Born To Pink was released on September 16 and its first charting week, on September 22, came to an end. The results revealed that their album has officially sold 1,542,950 copies.

BLACKPINK have doubled their first full album sales which were 689,066 copies, and have surpassed Aespa’s The Girls, which recorded 1,126,068 sales.

The girl group also set another milestone in their name for Born Pink being the first album by a female act in the history of Hanteo to sell over 1 million copies right on the first day of release.

Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart, recorded 2,141,281 first week sales for BLACKPINK, which crowned them as the first K-pop girl group to have a double million seller title.

BLACKPINK has officially become the first K-pop girl group with the highest first week album sales.
