Gerard Pique strikes back to Shakira’s latest statements after their split

Gerard Pique thinks Shakira is trying to portray herself as victim.

The latest statements made by the Colombian singer about her divorce with Barcelona’s soccer player, co-parenting and Paparazzi have affected the Spaniard as he has responded back to what she said.

In a recent interview given to ELLE Magazine the Waka Waka singer talked about multiple things she is coping up with amid split with Pique.

Throughout the interview, in addition to discussing issues about their children, Shakira emphasized to the harassment of the Paparrazi in Barcelona.

As reported by MARCA Magazine, shortly after the interview of Colombian singer made it to the media, the football player seemed upset by the statements and believes that she has the intention of victimizing the situation.

The footballer is reportedly upset  that Shakira is trying to define herself as the one who takes time from her career to take care of her children with the intention of "being an example" for them.

For those unversed, Shakira made serious revelations about press in Barcelona beside many other things in latest interview.

"There's not a place where I can hide from them with my kids, except for my own house. You know, we can't take a walk in the park like a regular family or go have an ice cream or do any activity without paparazzi following us," she said.
