Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling recently premiered in theatres and instantly earned $3.1million from the previews at the domestic box office.
The drama-mystery film Don’t Worry Darlings faced a lot of struggles before its release, making headlines for its endless rumors and behind-the-scenes drama.
The film landed in the cinema on September 23 and immediately earned a lump sum amount of $3.1 million. The early haul also included the earnings from Thursday previews and a Monday live Imax event.
The Warner Bros. Film is expected to make between $17 million to $20 million in its opening weekend, with the aim to touch $25 million in the following week.
According to Variety, with the production price of $35 million, any earnings in the estimated range would prove to be an excellent start for the film.
The psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling is Olivia Wilde’s second directorial effort and includes a starry cast of Chris Pine, Harry Styles and Florence Pugh.
