Prince Harry found out about Queen's death via online reports

Multiple royal sources have claimed that Prince Harry learned of his grandmother’s demise via online reports.

The Duke of Sussex was called over to Balmoral by his father King Charles III to visit Queen Elizabeth II during her final hours. However, neither he nor his brother Prince William could make it in time to say their goodbyes to the late monarch.

“No one from the royal family, nor any courtiers, actually called Harry to tell him of the monarch’s death — leading him to find out from news reports when he landed late in the afternoon,” a palace source confirmed to Page Six.

The Queen died on September 08 in her Balmoral state in Scotland where was going to spend the remainder of summer. The ailing monarch was placed under medical supervision prior to her death in the afternoon.

Only Charles and his sister Anne, Princess Royal, were there when the Queen died in the early afternoon.

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old royal arrived at Balmoral just before 8 p.m. alone, without Meghan Markle.
