Kim Tae Ri, Oh Jung Se and Hong Kyung to appear in SBS’ new occult mystery thriller drama

Kim Tae Ri, Oh Jung Se and Hong Kyung are going to star in SBS's new thriller 'The Devil'.

Kim Tae Ri, Oh Jung Se and Hong Kyung will be starring in SBS's new thriller The Devil.

The Devil is an occult mystery thriller series about a woman possessed by demons and a man who can see demons to find out about the mysterious deaths of five divine spirits.

According to Pinkvilla, Kim Tae Ri plays the role of Gu San Young, a public student who works part-time and is preparing for the civil service exam. Oh Jung Se plays Yeom Hae Sang, a folklore professor from a wealthy family who can see deities and demons.

Hong Kyung plays Lee Hong Sae, a police officer in the violent crime investigation team who gets tangled up in the lives of Gu San Young and Yeom Hae Sang.

Kim Tae Ri is known for starring in the films The Handmaiden, Little Forest, Space Sweepers and in the historical drama Mr. Sunshine.

Kim Tae Ri's leading role in her recent Netflix's coming-of-age drama Twenty-Five Twenty-One was critically acclaimed and led her to win the Best Actress Award at the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards.
