Whitney Housten and Kevin Costner starrer The Bodyguard is making its big screen comeback in fall for its 30th anniversary celebration.

The Bodyguard grossed $411 million in Box office and its music album became the 13th-biggest-selling disc in U.S. history with 18 million-plus units.

Kymberli Frueh, SVP of Programming and Content Acquisitions for Trafalgar Releasing said, "The Bodyguard’s story and songs are indelibly etched on the hearts of movie and music fans all around the globe."

She also said, "We are pleased to partner with Warner Bros. to bring this anniversary celebration to fans."

The romantic film will be shown in theatres on November 6 and November 9 and the tickets will go on sale on September 28.

The announcement of The Bodyguard's 30th Anniversary came as the trailer for Houston's biopic I Wanna Dance With Somebody was released which sets it to premiere on December 21.

Whitney Houston plays, Rachel Marron, a musician and an actor at the peak of her career, whereas Kevin Costner plays Frank, an ex-Secret Service agent who is hired by Rachel as her bodyguard. In an unexpected turn of events, they both fall in love with each other.
