Japan looking in to boosting tourist activities; Here's how

The much loved country Japan is all set to remove a limit on daily arrivals in October as it aims to benefit from a rebound in global tourism.

Following the change, the visa policy will be lifted for all short-term travelers, who plan to fly in from the United States and other big countries and will scrap the daily entry cap of 50,000 people.

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will be announcing the expected alterations in the coming days.

With the yen languishing to a near 24-year old low against the dollar, the government in this case could benefit from capitalizing on the increased buying power of tourists by easing the requirements.

Last week, they raised the daily ceiling of inbound travelers to a 50,000 from 20,000, and eliminated a requirement for pre-departure COVID tests.

Those willing to travel are quite excited about the new visa changes.
