Demi Lovato has revealed through social media posts, that her current tour in support of her eighth studio album will be her last.

On September 13, in a series of cryptic Instagram stories that are now-deleted, Demi Lovato posted pictures looking out of a hotel room window with words,"I’m so (expletive) sick I can’t get out of bed. I can’t do this anymore. This next tour will be my last. I love and thank you guys."

Music outlets like Billboard are taking it as an indicator that her Holy (expletive) campaign will be her last.

Demi Lovato then posted more stories that read,"Gonna power thru it for you guys [sick emoji] [black heart emoji] I’ll need help singing so sing loud for me bb’s!!"

Lovato later on posted a backstage selfie and wrote, "I barely have a voice, I’m gonna be pointing the mic to the audience a lot tonight."

The multi-hyphenate started her tour in Des Moines exactly a month ago before transitioning to a series of South American dates.

Starting her career with Barney and her friends, Demi Lovato has had a long musical and acting journey. 

She opened up in the media and her music about her struggles with eating disorder and substance abuse, and published a memoir Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year in 2013.

In the documentary Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated, the singer opened up about her bipolar disorder in 2017.

The 2021 doc series Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil, the singer laid her 2018 overdose and the events that led up to it.
