Vince Gill shares wife Amy Grants health update

Vince Gill shares how his wife Amy Grant's health is.

Due to the bike accident that left Amy Grant hospitalized in July, Vince Gill's wife could not attend the red carpet and recording of CMT Giants: Vince Gill on Monday in Nashville. However, he was joined by his two kids, Corrina and Jenny.

In a conversation with ET's Brooke Anderson, Vince provided an update on Amy's condition in the wake of the frightening event.

"She's doing great," he revealed.

"She's pretty torn up that she couldn’t be here tonight but with her accident and all of that, they kind of deemed that the best thing for her to do is just be still."

"That’s hard for her because she is very active," Vince added. "She knows that she is well thought of, well-loved, and represented tonight, so it's all good."

The best part of Amy returning to the stage with Vince, he says, will just be knowing that "she's ok."
