Black Panther and Captain America

Black Panther and Captain America as war heroes seems great idea for a new video game.

Marvel has had a string of excellent single-player games with notable comic book characters like Spider-Man, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and others in recent years.

The revelation that another Marvel game was in development from Skydance New Media, headed by Amy Hennig, the author of Legacy of Kain and Naughty Dog's Uncharted trilogy, surfaced last year.

A WWII action-adventure starring Black Panther and a youthful Captain America has now been revealed to be the game in question.

The presently untitled game, which was shown off at Disney's games exhibit at D23 on Friday, features both characters collaborating and embarking on a global quest to battle HYDRA and, consequently, Nazis.

Notably, T'Challa's grandpa Azzuri, who was established in the comics by Roy Thomas and Dave Hoover, is the one carrying the Panther mantle in this game rather than T'Challa.
