2022 VMAs: Taylor Swift cheers for BLACKPINK Lisa in one viral moment

Singer Taylor Swift's sweet gesture for Korean star Lisa's VMA win receives acclaim for all the right reasons. 

The MTV Music Video Awards was a star-studded affair attended by several major artists from the music world including the K-pop group, BLACKPINK. 

In the Best K-pop Award category, Lisa becomes the first soloist to grab the win and so makes history. 

As Lisa all excited went up on stage to receive the top honour, it was a delight for her to see not only her bandmates cheering in for her but also the Blank Space hit-maker. 

Netizens have been going all wow over a clip from the ceremony where Swift stands up to celebrate and encourages others to applaud Lisa's big achievement. 

Swift is a die-hard fan of the BLINKS as prior to this she showered love on them by dropping a TikTok video to their song Pink Venom. 

For their red carpet arrival, BLACKPINK members, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa were seen sporting black outfits.
