Ed Sheeran shares throwback with late Jamal Edwards

In a flashback photo, Ed Sheeran can be seen with his late buddy Jamal Edwards, who passed away in February at the age of 31.

The duo appeared to be at a bar enjoying a drink in the picture the singer, 31, posted on Instagram on Wednesday.

He captioned the post, “Peru with my brother.”

Ed could be seen smiling at his phone and donning a tie-dye jumper in the picture, which showed him to be in excellent spirits.

He was seated next to music businessman Jamal, who was wearing a black T-shirt and a grey plaid jumper.

Years of friendship existed between Ed and Jamal, and it was via Jamal that the hitmaker collaborated on a remix of Fireboy's song Peru.

Earlier this month, an inquest heard that Jamal passed away from a cardiac attack following a late-night cocaine and alcohol session.
