Burglars broke into Mariah Carey’s home in Atlanta while she was out vacationing in Italy and Hamptons.
According to the limited information retrieved by Page Six, the incident occurred in July when the 53-year-old singer was busy enjoying a getaway in Capri, Italy, and luxuriating in a $20 million mansion in the Hamptons.
The outlet confirmed the news from the police who refused to give out much information, considering that this is “still an open investigation.”
The burglary was reported to police on July 27, while it was established through Carey’s updates on Instagram that she spent the month in Italy with boyfriend Bryan Tanaka and her twins Monroe and Moroccan.
Carey’s reps did not respond to the request for comment.
The $5.65 million dollar mansion stretched out to a nine-bedroom, 13-bedroom home and features a pool, tennis court, and playground.
