Ciara accused of staying with husband Russell Wilson for money

Former NFL star Channing Crowder claimed that Ciara Wilson is only with her husband Russell Wilson for his money.

Speaking in a podcast recently, the former Miami Dolphins linebacker stirred some drama claiming that the singer’s marriage to Wilson was for materialistic reasons only.

"She's got a good situation... but he's a square."

Needless to say, Crowder's comments drew a lot of attention and in particular from Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf, who is close with his former QB Wilson, who will play for the Denver Broncos.

"People call him square, that's fine, if it's dumb to be a square, I'll be a square," Metcalf said on Twitter.

"It's like saying you're boring for treating your wife right."
