'No reason' Prince Harry, Meghan Markle should not get security from UK: Expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle deserve an equal level of security like any other royal, says expert.

Security professional Richard Aitch says there is "no excuse" the Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle are not given the desired protection.

Speaking to Royally Us, Mr Aitch said: "It's vitally important that Prince Harry receives a proper, the right and proper protection.

"There is no other reasoning, or excuse, or exemption, or anything laid down where Harry should not actually be afforded this protection.

"It will make all the difference. You can't expect a poorly trained private security industry – and I'm talking on the global scale, not just in the UK – anywhere near the same level of protection as the Government."

Meanwhile, Prince Harry is fighting a legal battle with the UK Home Office in order to be able to pay for his own security when his family is in the country.
