Better Call Saul co-creator and Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is prepared for what happens next as the series comes to a close.

And once more, he would be choosing an entirely original concept for his upcoming drama project.

Nobody would remark, but there was a great deal of interest in the market for the pitch, which was anticipated to be released in the next few weeks and has at least 8–9 networks and platforms lining up to hear it.

After Better Call Saul by Vince Gilligan ended, the new show was described as a mixed, realistic genre drama and has been compared to The Twilight Zone.

The new project, which would arrive under the banner of Sony Pictures TV, where Gilligan has had a long-term deal, would be a break from the world of drugs and crime that he explored in Breaking Bad and its prequel, Better Call Saul, the series finale of which airs on August 15.

According to some reports, the show would supposedly be situated in our world but with a twist, concentrating on individuals and examining the human condition in an unusual, shocking way.

The new programme will be anticipated to have a distinctive Gilligan tone that combines humour and drama but will not be a morality story.

Gilligan has created supporting material for the pitch, as he frequently does with his original works, to give potential clients a feel of the new project's perspective.

Talking about Gilligan, he was one of his generation's most recognised TV creators, created and executive produced AMC's blockbuster Breaking Bad, which earned two Emmys for Outstanding Drama Series.
