Olivia Newton John's song You're the one that I want soars high on UK charts

Olivia Newton John's three UK No. 1 singles were achieved in her lifetime by the pop singer and actor who was born in England and raised in Australia, all thanks to her roles in movies.

The soundtracks to the popular 1978 movie Grease, in which she co-starred with John Travolta, You're The One That I Want and Summer Nights, both peaked at No. 1 on the Official UK Singles Chart.

In the UK, You're The One That I Want continued to rank among the top 5 best-selling singles of all time (excluding streams) with 2.08 million sales, while Summer Nights was at No. 28 on the list with 1.65 million sales, according to information released this week by the Official Charts Company.

You're The One That I Want and Summer Nights were rated 73 and 216, respectively, on the U.K. all-time singles chart, which also took into account streaming statistics.
