Batgirl directors reveal how they Marvel king Kevin Feige’s support

Batgirl directors Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah got the support of some big sharks in the industry.

Adil El Arbi, the director of Batgirl, has stated that Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel, contacted him to offer support after Warner Bros. dropped his DC superhero movie.

“My friends I had to reach out and let you know we are all thinking about you both,” said Kevin Feige in the screenshot shared by El Arbi.

As the directors got the bad news while at Adil's wedding, the Marvel boss also congratulated them, “Because of the wonderful news about the wedding (congrats!) and the disappointing news about Batgirl.”

“Very proud of you guys for all the amazing work you do and particularly Ms. Marvel of course!” the message continued. “Can’t wait to see what is next for you. Hope to see you soon.”

On social media, El Arbi posted a number of encouraging messages, including those from James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy, and Edgar Wright.

To the dismay of fans, Batgirl's late 2022 release date was apparently scrapped after unsatisfactory test screenings.
