Kim Kardashian’s ‘Trash Bag’ on sale for $1790

In March, following front-row seating at Balenciaga's Paris Fashion Week presentation in a catsuit fashioned of warning tape, Kim Kardashian shared a photo on Instagram Stories of her gift from the designer Demna: a black sack that had been torn from the runway's latest collection.

“How cool is this?” exclaimed the model. “Look what I got. I got the ‘trash bag’ bag from the show. I am so excited.”

The perplexing design, known as the Trash Pouch, has now arrived in stores and costs a cool $1,790.

After his show, Demna spoke with Women's Wear Daily, “I couldn’t miss an opportunity to make the most expensive trash bag in the world, because who doesn’t love a fashion scandal?”

Balenciaga's drawstring sacks, which are made from glossy leather rather than the typical plastic and are available in black, white, yellow, and blue, are undoubtedly evoking significant comments in the fashion fan world.
