According to Deadline, Jeff Nichols will write and direct the upcoming movie "The Bikeriders," which will star Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, and Tom Hardy among a pretty great roster.
The movie was influenced by Danny Lyon's 1967 book "The Bikeriders" and its photography.
The narrative will center on a fictitious motorcycle club from the Midwest that begins as a lighthearted social group but develops over a ten-year period into something more evil and terrible.
The filmmaker was hired back in 2020 to pen and helm the "A Quiet Place" prequel. The worked on the project for over a year before he left and was replaced by Michael Sarnoski. Additionally, he was a part of "Alien Nation" which was canceled after Disney acquired Fox.
