Ben Affleck ‘likely’ to replace Michael Keaton in Aquaman The Lost Kingdom

Ben Affleck is back in the waters.

Ben Affleck will come back and Michael Keaton will apparently be replaced as Batman in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, and Patrick Wilson all showed up on set in Saunton Sands in North Devon to film scenes for the upcoming Aquaman sequel.

Following yet another change in the release date from DC, Michael Keaton's planned cameo in Aquaman 2 now appears to have been substituted by Ben Affleck due to continuity problems. The release of The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which was initially planned for later this year, was postponed until 2023.

Affleck will co-star in The Flash with fellow Batman Michael Keaton. Affleck last played the hooded vigilante in Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021).

His presence in Aquaman 2 has not been officially confirmed by DC, but rumours about it have been making the rounds on Twitter since Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman, first made the announcement.
