Pat Carroll, the famous voice behind villainous sea witch Ursula from The Little Mermaid, has died at the age of 95.
The Emmy-winning personality had died from pneumonia on Saturday at her home, her daughter Kerry Karsian said to The Hollywood Reporter.
She first started her venture into voice acting in 1966 for animated series The Super 6. But her career took off in the ‘80s due to her works in cartoons Yogi’s Treasure Hunt, Galaxy High School, Foofur, Pound Puppies and Superman.
However, she was best known for Ursula for the 1989 Disney feature The Little Mermaid.
It later went on to becoming one of her favorite roles. "It was a lifelong ambition of mine to do a Disney film," she told author Allan Neuwirth in Makin‘ Toons: Inside the Most Popular Animated TV Shows and Movies.
"So, I was theirs hook, line and sinker."
