Britney Spears tell-all book combats delay in release following paper shortage

Britney Spears has finished writing her tell-all book, but the publishing company is short on paper supply, hence the delay in release.

A close source to the popstar has reported to TMZ, “She recently wrapped up the dishy memoir, which is set to be published by Simon & Schuster.” the source revealed. “Britney and co. are aiming for a release date in January — but there's a paper shortage that has upended the plan.”

The sources also said that there is “no clear date” on when the shortage will be resolved which eventually affects the release date.

Britney’s tell-all will take us through her journey from being a child star to finding stardom. It will also detail her traumatic experience during the conservatorship and how it affected her relationship with her family.

According to Publishers Weekly, the paper shortage is due to more people ordering books during the pandemic which led to a decrease in paper supply.

They also revealed a lot of manufacturers quit paper plants which contributed to the ongoing labor shortage.
