Some epic nominations for Emmy Awards 2022

This year's upcoming Emmy nominations are historic.

The Television Academy on July 12 released a nomination list for the upcoming 2022 award ceremony where some new records have been set, some old has been broken largely.

This year HBO's Euphoria has been nominated in many categories, on the other hand, the last year's multi-award-winning series This Is Us has zero nominations.

Talking about stars that made their name with historical entries- Selena Gomez, not as an actress or singer, but as Latina Producer for her work on Only Murders in the Building.

Quinta Brunson, tallied up three nominations for the Abbott Elementary series, making history as the first black woman to receive three comedy nominations.

Also, Zendaya broke records with her multiple nominations for Euphoria.

Nathan Lane- the actor has become most nominated for his guest appearance as a comedic guest actor.

Squid Game- First K-drama nominated in the outstanding drama category. The show has received 14 total nominations in several categories.

Succession- The show has been most nominated in 2022's Emmy with 25 nods- including 14 most acting nominations at the Emmys.

Saturday Night Live- The show has received nine new nods as the most Emmy-nominated show in history.
