Kendrick Lamar closes of Glastonbury festival with dynamic words on women's rights

American rapper Kendrick Lamar ended his Glastonbury headline set with a powerful protest at the roll-back of abortion rights in the USA. 

With blood pouring down his face at the festival the star proclaimed, "Godspeed for women's rights. They judge you, they judge Christ."

Repeating the phrase over and over again with increased intensity, broke off mid-sentence throwing his microphone on the stage as he walked away. 

It was a forceful end to a theatrical performance that the festival ever witnessed. 

Throughout the star-studded show, the singer addressed themes of guilt, greed, loyalty, power, ambition and prejudice.
