Johnny Depp answers whether he plans to return to Pirates of the Caribbean

Johnny Depp was allegedly offered a $300 million contract from Disney

Johnny Depp burned all bridges with Disney

Johnny Depp is said to not be returning to Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean series.

According to a representative for the actor, the on-going rumour mill that speculated Depp's return to the franchise in a $300 million deal is said to be false.

"This is made up," a representative for the actor told NBC News.

Previously Depp burned all bridges linking to Disney saying, during his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard, that he would never return to the company even if they made a massive offer.

"If Disney came to you with $300m dollars and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth would get you to go back and work with Disney on a Pirates of the Caribbean film?" he was asked.

"That is true," Depp answered.

Besides the jaw-dropping offer it was speculated that the company was willing to make a "sizable donation" to a charity of Depp's choosing in order to make things right with the actor.
