Burger King Employee receives more than $150k on his GoFundMe

A GoFundMe of a Burger King employee surpassed more than $150K in only a week.

A Burger King employee, Kevin Ford went viral on TikTok a few days ago after he was rewarded with a goodie bag by the company.

The goodie bag that included a movie ticket, a bag of candy, a coffee tumbler, a lanyard, and some pens was gifted to him for his perfect attendance as he never missed a shift in 27 years.

People who watched the video though felt that the 60-year-old deserved much more for his services.

Soon after, His daughter started a GoFundMe for anyone who would like to donate to help him raise enough money to visit his grandkids.

"In no way are we asking for money or is he expecting any money but if anyone feels like blessing him he would love to visit his grandchildren," the daughter explained.

More than 4,700 people donated to the cause, and as of Sunday evening, $157,000 were raised.

Among the generous donors was the former Saturday Night Live star and comedian, David Spade who surprised Ford with an amount of $5000.
