Dragon flight, the upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft, is scheduled to debut later this year. The forthcoming expansion, which is set in the long-lost Dragon Isles, still doesn't have a specific release date, but it appears to be coming sooner than some fans had anticipated.
In a press release, Blizzard Entertainment provided details on how to pre-order the expansion and its bonus items as well as the expansion's 2022 release date.
The base edition of Dragon flight costs $49.99 and comes with the expansion and Drakks, a miniature dragon pet. Drakks, a cuddly Murloc dragon companion named Murkastrasza, a level 60 boosts, and a Tangled Dreamweaver flying mount are all included in the Heroic edition ($69.99).
The entire aforementioned are included in the $89.99 Epic edition along with diadem and cape cosmetics and 30 days of playtime. Another option is a $129.99 boxed collector's set that includes an art book, pins, and a mouse pad.
The Dragon Isles transports players from the Shadowlands back to Azeroth, where they can explore the dragons' ancient home.
There are four new areas, a level ceiling of 70, dragon-powered aerial mobility, a new character type based on the formidable Dracthyr race, and an Evoker hero class.
