Ariana Grande to not launch her new follow-up album this soon

Singer Ariana Grande’s fans will have to wait a little longer as the release of her new album is not in the cards anytime soon.

In a live stream on the cosmetics company R.E.M beauty 34+35 YouTube channel the icon addressed a few fan questions, one which included her follow-up album to 2020’s Positions.

The 7 Rings crooner revealed, "This is a question I’m nervous to answer, but I feel like I want to have a little bit of transparency and honesty with my fans. The truth is, I have not begun an album."

She explained, "I hear through the grapevine that you have a lot of theories and expectations in that department, But after Positions, [I] was not ready to start another album yet, so I have not begun another album." 

Shortly after the premiere of Positions she learnt about an audition for the upcoming film version of Wicked.
