Prince William, Kate Middleton's marriage almost never happened, here's how

Prince William and Kate Middleton's romance may have never seen the light of day had it not been one person to intervene in their relationship to bring the distant lovers together. 

In a new book on the wedding anniversary of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, it outlined how the two almost did not get married because of their sour relationship.

According to the book, it was Kate Middleton's mother Carole Middleton who put the couple's relationship back on track.

Prince William is second in line to the British throne and will become king after his father Prince Charles.

Queen Elizabeth recently announced that Charles' wife Duchess Camilla will be titled Queen Consort when her son takes the throne.
