Jason Momoa gearing up for live-action Minecraft movie role

Jason Momoa is reportedly in the works of bagging a role in a live-action Minecraft movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Momoa is in the final stages of negotiations in what is expected to be the starring role.

Since news of this broke out, many have speculated that the actor will be essaying the role of main protagonist Steve.

What the public does know so far is that Mojang’s Lydia Winters and Vu Bui will work as producers alongside Dune’s Mary Parent and Roy Lee.

Meanwhile, Jared Hess, director of Napoleon Dynamite, will be directing the film.
