Elton John tests positive for COVID-19, reschedules show dates

Legendary English singer Elton John has canceled two upcoming shows in Dallas, Texas after being diagnosed with COVID-19 leaving fans disappointed.

Despite being fully vaccinated and boosted Elton got infected and is experiencing mild symptoms at the moment.

The statement read, "It is with great regret that the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour dates in Dallas set for Tuesday, January 25 and Wednesday, January 26 must be postponed due to Elton recently testing positive for COVID-19.”

“Fans should hold on to their tickets as they will be honoured at the rescheduled dates to be announced soon” added the insider.

The icon had returned to touring after a long break but unfortunately the virus took a toll upon him.

To note, Elton had appeared in a COVID-19 vaccine advert for the NHS in the UK encouraging the public to get jabbed.

Elton calls the virus a "wretched disease".
