Kate Middleton goes for a 'modest' birthday bash: Read

Kate Middleton turned 40 on January 9 with a low-key celebration on her mind this year as reported by the royal palace insiders.

A grand party was not made fit for the duchess and preferred going for a simple one with her family and old friends in attendance.

Her husband, Prince William was organizing a bash at a private location inviting her loved ones but the plan was canceled due to the rising coronavirus cases in the UK and has been scheduled for a later date. 

As per the royal family history husband’s do it all for their wives when it comes to making them feel special and loved.

An insider said, "She’ll be spending it with the people she loves most – her family, William thinks it’s better to be safe than sorry and postponed it to a later date."

The source further noted, “William is still going out of his way to make Kate’s 40th birthday a memorable occasion. He has arranged a romantic out-of-town getaway in January, for just the two of them.”

Meanwhile, "[The children] are baking their mum a big 4-0 multicolored sponge and marshmallow cake with 40 candles to blow out, and they’ve handcrafted gifts. Charlotte spent hours making her mum a beaded necklace. It’s so cute!.”

Middleton’s and Kate’s love story was one of a kind, where the latter met his beloved in St. Andrews University.

The couple tied the knot in 2011 in Westminster Abbey in a ceremony that was televised globally and since then has been taking on official duties in support of William’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth.

The stunner has truly won over the royal household.
