Keanu Reeves reveals owning a cancer charity foundation

Canadian actor Keanu Reeves spoke up about having his own private cancer foundation to aid children’s hospitals and cancer research.

This showcased that Reeves is not only an excellent actor by profession but also a great activist looking to help the public in their fight against cancer.

The star has spent millions to help his sister battle the life threatening disease leukemia.

In a recent interview, Reeves said, “I have a private foundation that’s been running for five or six years, and it helps aid a couple of children’s hospitals and cancer research.⁠ I don’t like to attach my name to it, I just let the foundation do what it does.”⁠

Further adding, the Constantine star stated, “It’s always nice to open your eyes every morning and see the world – it all seems so simple!⁠ That’s why I frequently use an expression that I like very much, and which gives me peace of mind, ‘I’m happy to be here.”

“That enormous sense of gratitude is enough for me – I don’t need to surround myself with a lot of objects and possessions to feel that way,” concluded Reeves.
