According to the agency’s statement, Suga made no contact with other BTS members after he tested COVID positive

BTS’ Suga tests positive for COVID-19, ARMY wishes speedy recovery

South Korea’s popular band, BTS’ member Suga has been tested positive for COVID-19, the septet’s management company, BIGHIT Music confirmed in a statement on Friday.

The statement also said that the Butter crooner, who is under self-isolation, had undergone an RT-PCR test as well. It has also been confirmed that Suga has not come in contact with his fellow BTS members RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.

The news has come in less than 24 hours after the K-pop singer returned from the U.S. upon returning to South Korea.

Apart from this, the statement mentioned that Suga, 28, had completed both doses of the coronavirus vaccine.

Following the news, several ARMY members took to Twitter and sent wishes to Suga for his speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, the rest of the BTS members, who are currently at their homes and are on a short break, will prepare on their new album that will mark ‘the beginning of a new chapter.’
