Tom Holland hints on bidding ‘Spider-Man’ franchise farewell

Star Tom Holland talked about his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe(MCU) soon after the release of the third franchise of Spider Man: No Way Home.

Holland made his acting debut as the MCU superhero in Captain America: Civil War after which he featured in 6 Marvel movies and delivered his best performance.

In an interview with People, the Uncharted actor said, “I've loved every minute of it. I've been so grateful to Marvel and Sony for giving us the opportunity and keeping us on and allowing our characters to progress. It's been amazing. And that's why for me, I don't want to say goodbye to Spider-Man — but I feel like we might be ready to say goodbye to Spider-Man.”

“I don't want to be responsible for holding back the next young person that comes in who deserves it just as much.”

Tom is hopeful that the Spider-Man world expands and incorporates different Spidey characters.

The film has hit screens this week in the USA and India.
