Megan Thee Stallion delays her performance in remembrance of Astrowold victims

Singer Megan Thee Stallion cancelled her upcoming show in Houston out of respect for all those who lost their lives at the Astroworld incident this Tuesday.

Thee Stallion said in a statement as per PEOPLE, "Out of respect for the lives lost in Houston earlier this month, I have decided to cancel my show at 713 Music Hall on Dec 3, Houston is still healing and it's important that our community be given the appropriate time to grieve."

Further adding, she stated, "My heart goes out to all the families that are suffering during this difficult time.”

Megan had confirmed her appearance the day before the deadly disaster took place.

The concert was intended to launch a new venue in Houston as well as her college graduation.

The Astroworld tragedy had left 10 dead and many wounded as Travis Scott delivered his best performance. .
