The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to travel to U.S. for the first time since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties and moved to the States.
However, it is highly ‘unlikely’ for Kate and William unlikely to stay in in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s California home during their visit to U.S.
Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti said a reunion between the Cambridges and Sussexes might not be on the cards, when the former go to the U.S to announce the second annual awards of The Earthshot Prize in 2022.
Sacerdoti told US Weekly, "If they get invited and they decline, it seems petty and nasty. And if they don’t get invited, it seems petty and nasty from the other side.
"And if they do accept such an invitation and something goes terribly wrong, that seems like a bad idea. I can’t quite see how this would work," the British journalist added.
Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, have been living in Montecito, Santa Barbara after existing their roles as the senior members of the royal family.
