Meghan Markle, Prince Harry make a glamorous appearance at Salute to Freedom Gala 2021

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stunned on the red carpet of the Intrepid Air & Space Museum Salute to Freedom Gala in New York City, on Wednesday night.

The couple looked absolutely gorgeous in a regal avatar as they arrived at the gala to present Valor Award, to five servicemen on Remembrance Day.

The duchess, 40, dazzled the red carpet in a show-stopping red gown by Carolina Herrera. The glamorous dress featured a plunging neckline and a pleated skirt with thigh-high split that ran up the middle of the gown.

She paired the Giuseppe Zanotti burgundy pumps along with the stunning dress and opted for a high bun hairstyle. As for Prince Harry, 37, he looked dapper as he complemented his wife in a black suit and bow tie.

Both Meghan and Harry were also seen wearing red poppy flower pins as a nod to Remembrance Day.

Among other attendees of the Salute to Freedom Gala 2021 included Jon Bon Jovi who was honoured with the 2021 Intrepid Lifetime Achievement Award for his work with the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation in combating veteran homelessness.

Harry, who served in the British army for 10 years, presented the inaugural Intrepid Valor Award to the five recipients. In his speech, he thanked the honourees for living their lives "defined by service, purpose and resilience."
