Camila Cabello’s new neck tattoo has a special meaning

Popular Cuban-American singer and songwriter Camila Cabello has just added a new tattoo to her growing ink collection. The Don’t Go Yet hit-maker has got a new tattoo on the back of her neck to pay tribute to Mother Nature.

The Cinderella starlet took to her Instagram on Monday and shared her latest ink work, which she got over the weekend. She posted a picture of the back of her neck with her hair pulled up to better showcase the ink.

In the caption, she shared that the ink work, which was done by tattoo artist Kane Navasard, was inspired by book Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer.

In the post, she begun with a line excerpted from the book that’s read, "The word ecology is derived from the Greek word 'oikos,' the word for home."

"This book on Indigenous wisdom and plants changed my life. After I read it, I knew I'd never look at the earth and all of [its] inhabitants the same. It taught me about reciprocity, about the gift and wisdom in Mother Nature, and that when we heal the Earth, we heal ourselves."
