Matthew Perry announces autobiography

PEOPLE confirmed that the Friends star, Matthew Perry is writing his biography in which he will share details about his struggles with addiction and the hit comedy show.

The 52-year-old told PEOPLE, “There has been so much written about me by others in the past. I thought it was time people heard it directly from the horse's mouth. In this case, the horse's mouth being me."

However, no title has yet been decided for the upcoming memoir but it’s confirmed that it will be published in 2022.

Moreover, according to Deadline, “In the book, Perry will take readers behind-the-scenes and onto the soundstage of the sitcom while opening up about his private struggles with addiction. It is set to be a candid and self-aware book told with his trademark humour, with Perry vividly detailing his lifelong battle with the disease and what fueled it despite seemingly having it all.'
