Queen Elizabeth cancelled her trip to Northern Ireland as she received medical advice for bed rest after spending a night in hospital.
According to Buckingham Palace, the Queen had undergone ‘preliminary investigations’.
Reports revealed, the 95-year-old queen is now feeling good and has returned to Windsor Castle from the hospital but will still not be travelling to Ireland.
Her decision to cancel the trip to Ireland came days after she was seen using a walking stick at a public event commemorating the centenary of the Royal British region.
As per Entertainment Tonight, “The Queen sends her warmest good wishes to the people of Northern Ireland, and looks forward to visiting in the future.”
The Queen has been living in Windsor castle since the start of the pandemic.
