‘Easy On Me’: Adele weighs in on experience of working on her latest single

Singer Adele talked about the ‘hopeful and sad’ process of recording and creating her forthcoming album Easy on Me.

This week, the singer released her latest hit Easy on Me which took inspiration from her painful marriage that ended up in divorce.

On her Instagram live session, the Love in The Dark singer said, “I had no idea how to do it!I had a cold sore. I was just wearing a tee-shirt.”

She continued, “It’s very me…it was the first song I wrote for the album, beginning of 2019 really. I was quite shocked that I got it out straight away. I hadn’t been back in the studio for four or five years before that. I was making decisions in my life that have been well-documented…there’s something really hopeful about it, as well as sad. I obviously bawled my eyes out while I was writing and recording it.”

Fans went all excited over Adele’s new track.
