Vanessa Hudgens on being unmarried after '25': 'My relationship with myself is something I value deeply'

Vanessa Hudgens revealed her current relationship status and expressed gratitude in living a better life as she sat down for a candid chat.

Hudgens always thought she would follow in her mother’s footsteps and get married at 25 but that didn't happen.

In an interview with Shape Magazine, Vanessa said, "Where I am now is better than I could have dreamed of. My relationship with myself is something I value deeply, even if things don't always go the way I expected. For instance, my mom got married at 25, so I always thought I was going to be married at 25. That didn't happen. But I'm in such an amazing, healthy relationship, so it doesn't matter."

She added, "I'm very grateful every day for where I am at this moment of my life.”

The Disney alum was mature and intelligent enough to understand the harshness that life could offer but instead of crying over it she would value the good wisdom behind it.

On the personal front, Hudgens parted ways with her long time boyfriend Austin Butler after 9 years of dating and is currently in a sparking romance with a MLB player Cole Tucker.
